Pelvic Fertility - Baseline Scan and Hormone Blood Test Packages

The scan is typically conducted on days 2 to 5 of the menstrual cycle and combined with blood tests for a more comprehensive fertility evaluation.

  • A 30-minute appointment
  • A detailed scan assessing the uterus, endometrial lining, ovaries, and pelvic region
  • A set of blood tests
  • Medical follow-up recommendations, if necessary

This scan is available for individuals aged 16 and over, and it is conducted by an experienced sonographer with diagnostic expertise.

Hormone Blood Test Packages

  • AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone): AMH testing provides crucial insights into ovarian function as well as egg reserve. It can be done at any stage of the menstrual cycle, including while using oral contraception. Your results will help guide fertility treatment choices.
  • Full Blood Count: This test assesses iron levels, which play a role in fertility. Studies suggest that iron deficiency may affect ovulation and oxygen supply, impacting egg quality. Your provider can tailor treatment based on these levels.
  • Prolactin: Produced by the pituitary gland, prolactin influences ovulation. Measuring prolactin levels can help assess infertility and determine possible causes of ovulatory issues.
  • T3 (Triiodothyronine) & T4 (Thyroxine): These tests measure thyroid hormone levels to assess whether the thyroid is functioning properly. A well-balanced thyroid is essential for reproductive health in both women and men.
  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH): TSH levels are important in fertility treatment, as high and low levels can affect conception and pregnancy. Monitoring thyroid function is important before, during, and after fertility treatment.
  • Vitamin D: Vitamin D testing establishes baseline levels to ensure they are within the optimal range for fertility. Adequate levels support female fertility and pregnancy and may also help manage conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis, both of which can impact reproductive health.
  • LH (Luteinising Hormone): Produced in the brain, LH plays a key role in fertility. In women, it triggers egg release, while in men, it stimulates testosterone production. Imbalanced LH levels may lead to infertility, menstrual irregularities, or reduced libido in men.
  • FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone): FSH is essential for egg development, as it promotes follicle growth in the ovaries, leading to ovulation. Monitoring FSH levels during the menstrual cycle helps assess fertility potential.
