The Babybond Scan is an exclusive, high-quality pregnancy ultrasound offered at Sonoclinic for expectant parents between 16 and 34 weeks. This premium scan allows you to customise your experience, focusing on aspects most meaningful to you—whether it’s determining your baby’s gender, observing the heartbeat, or viewing the small fingers and toes in 4D. Our welcoming clinic team will discuss your preferences, and the qualified sonographer will guide you through the scan, ensuring both you and your child’s health are prioritised.
What the Babybond Scan Includes
- 30-minute diagnostic session. This covers check-in, the scan itself, reviewing images, and the opportunity to ask the sonographer questions.
- Baby’s wellbeing assessment. We monitor the heartbeat, and if anything unexpected arises, our sonographer will provide guidance accordingly.
- Printed diagnostic summary

The clarity of your scan depends on the position of the baby, so we will show you the best possible images on the day of the appointment. You will receive a comprehensive written report of your results, including recommendations if any further steps are needed. Physical copies of images and the diagnostic summary are also provided at the appointment.
Preparing for your scan
Since abdomen access is required, try to put on a two-piece outfit such as a top with trousers or a skirt. You may also invite up to five guests to share the experience.
