Preparation for Your Scan
To achieve the best possible images and experience, do the following:
- Consume one litre of clear fluid an hour before your appointment, and avoid urinating beforehand. A full bladder can enhance the clarity of the ultrasound images.
- Take a meal prior to your scan.
- Dress in a two-piece outfit, such as a top with trousers or a skirt, to allow easy access to your abdomen.
